Had a WONDERFUL mini-vacation to Memphis!

I'm too tired to post a lot right now---pictures and details soon to come!

Girls' Night Out!

My day started with adding lowlights and dark cherry highlights and a big-time major hairstyle overhaul---I very much like my new stylist (have seen nice and trendy coiffs created by him).  I am going to have fun with my hair this year---I have something wildly planned for my next appointment---stay tuned!

The day continued with running errands and planning an upcoming camping trip for my little girls---can't WAIT!  I'm so excited that the weather's going to be nice this entire weekend!  Would also love to take my oldest jetskiing.

The day ended with going to dinner and  out with an old, dear best  friend from junior high school.  We rocked it at the Duran Duran concert---it was a blast being 4th row in the front almost center!  Simon LeBon is still dreamy, and my friend was oogling John Taylor!

Loving my life!  Thank you Jesus for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me!  Thank you for your comfort and taking care of me and my family---both at home and at work.

Kate's secrets

Have been so enjoying spending time with my girls---especially Kate at her age---she will be four next month!  I can't believe she's a preschooler already; I am doing my best to spend every free moment with my girls.  They loved "Durango" last weekend (Johnny Depp is great in any role he plays...even a chameleon)!

She likes to pretend to tell me secrets...which reminds me of a great song I like:  Secrets by OneRepublic.

Another song with pretty music that I like is in the "Red Riding Hood" movie:  Crystal Visions by The Big Pink.

BTW---I really liked "Red Riding Hood".  Definitely has the same flavor as "Twilight"---kudos to Catherine Hardwicke for directing another romantic hit!  I so hope they will make a sequel to this one, too!

And on the 7th day...

...I got to have fun with my family!  Did we work on Friday?  Check!  What about Saturday?  Check!  (I have to admit, I really enjoyed taking care of a wonderful patient who drives two hours one way to come to my office!  Seeing his newly transformed smile at the end of the long day was so very rewarding!!!)

We had a grand time playing games at an indoor amusement park today!  Bowling, rides on the carousel and swinging ship, stepping it up on Dance Dance Revolution against Lisa, and I couldn't get enough of this really fun drumming game (so much so that I may have to set up our Rock Band drums again)!

Blessings

It was a very emotionally-uplifting day today for me...I am honored to be working with two of the most amazing women.  Thank you for all your motivation and support, Ladies!!!

You are so incredibly thoughtful...thank you

for the huge boquet of beautiful spring flowers!!!  They truly touched my heart...you are amazing and I'm so thankful for YOU!  *many hugs*

Worried about my furry best friend ;(

I love Ernie so very much and have had the joy of being his mommy since April 15, 1999.  I adopted him from a wonderful non-profit pet organization named Pic-A-Pal.  I have never owned a dog during my adult life, and I was so blessed that I happened to chose the most near-perfect little fellow!  If I could, I would have him cloned!  I'm sure you can sense how attached I am to this mini schnauzer.

A few weeks ago, he developed some lesions on his left eye and are no better after having him on Rx eyedrops from my friends at Animal Hospital of Fate.  I am so worried that they are cancerous growths.  I think I'll have them biopsied so we can know what needs to be done next to enable him to be with me hopefully years longer.  I will be devastated when he's gone.  ;(

God's Plan...

The gorgeous weather has been intoxicating!  It's so nice to throw on our warm weather clothes and go for a walk to the neighborhood park with the girls and our schnauzer, Ernie.

Christmas Cookies!

Had a grand time decorating Christmas cookies with Lisa and Kate last weekend.  They did a great job, and Kate was espeically crafty at licking the icing from her cookie before it dried!

Happy birthday dear Susan!
